YouTube video ideas for beginners 2020

This Post is in continuation of my previous Post. I hope you will find some more valuable info in this Post as well. 

Before I start, I again want to remind all of you to read, re-read, and try to clearly understand the latest terms and conditions of YouTube videos to avoid any kind of problems. Let's start discussing each point one-by-one:

1. Innovative / Unique usage of products:

Sometimes products can be used in a different manner than the obvious manner. For example, if you must have seen 5-Minute Crafts’s YouTube Channel, they keep on showing innovative/unique usage of existing products and other things.  

2. Stories for kids:

Any story that you were told during your childhood days can be narrated in an interesting manner with hand-drawn or computer-generated images running the screen. Make sure that the Voice-over used is children friendly and other sounds are also added to the video. It will make your videos more attractive to children.

3. Phenomenas:

You heard something about a phenomenon that people are talking about. You can do some investigation on your own and then, come up with a video to make others understand what was that story. Be authentic in your approach. 

4. Interviews:

If you could interview any noticeable celebrity or other important person and record it. That video could also be uploaded with necessary permission and people will surely watch. You can focus on the hardships faced by that person. Also, try to give some positive message for others to follow in your videos.

5. Comparison between two different softwares in the same category:

For example, in graphics designing, there are different softwares by different companies that offer the same functionality. You can create a video to compare and present a comparison of plus points and negative points, when to use one particular software, price and other important points. You can add an expert opinion, if available.

6. Funny videos:

You can play a prank with your friends and record it and upload it after getting permission from all of those involved. Nobody should be hurt in any form. Use new ideas every time you record a prank. 

7. Logo or any other special technique videos:

If you know a special technique related to any software, let’s say, Adobe Illustrator, you can post it for the benefit of others. In fact, people have created full courses related to different graphic softwares and are doing well on YouTube. You can also try your luck in this area.

8. Unconventional ways of doing things:

If you know a way that has never been thought before, you can get attention to this great video sharing platform. For example, in cooking, a dish can be cooked using all complex kitchen appliances or the same can be done using a simple technique without using complex kitchen appliances. Record it both ways. People will show interest in this video as people want to try a different method or sometimes don’t have time or equipment to get it done. 

9. Parenting Tips:

If you know some tips that could help new parents in handling young kids. You can post a video actually performing that act, for example, how to make a child sleep quickly, so the new parents could understand and do at home. Post a new video every time discussing a new child-related problem. I am sure you will get considerable attention on this platform.

10. Product reviews:

If have used a product or had a chance to use different products in the same category, you should make a video to help people make prudent decisions. In your video, you can take about price, features, plus points, negative points and from where to buy that particular product, etc. if you are comparing, you can make a chart and talk about it.

11. Tips for improvement in life:

We all face different problems in life and want to get rid of them as quick as possible. If you know some tips that can help reduce problems, you should make a video for others to follow and bring improvement in life. Chances are you will make a good number of subscribers for your Channel.

12. Tips for using products in an efficient manner:

For example, you can create a video explaining how to use a Windows Laptop in an efficient manner by deactivating unnecessary options. There are so many products, which can be optimized for better usage. If you find some information like this, please make sure to share the video with others to make their lives easy.

13. Chemistry / Physics Experiments:

You can post a video showing how new chemicals can be obtained at home with things available at home. You must show disclaimers, safety measures, and other important info before starting the video. There are people out there who like Chemistry and will follow you through your YouTube Channel. 

The same theory applies to Physics. In the case of Physics, you can explain about things that follow Physics Laws and how can we play with it for fun.

14. Ten things to do while on/in…….

You can create a video giving ideas about doing things on different occasions, for example, when on a picnic. Like this, you can think about a different situation, where one can get busy to avoid boredom.

15. Photography / Video Rules:

Anyone can take a great looking still photo/video with a professional camera/video camera. Teach people about how to take professional-looking pictures or record a professional video while using a smartphone without any additional budget. People nowadays are trying to save money, so they will definitely watch your video on this subject.

16. Architectural Review:

If you have a sound understanding of architectures, you can create explainer videos for everyone to understand the idea behind a particular building better. You can give amazing facts about the structure in question, making your video more interesting.

17. Toys Reviews:

If you a child, you can do a toy review video. Other children like you will follow you. There are so many examples of Toys Review Channels that are doing well on YouTube.

18. Fabric Reviews:

If you have knowledge about different types of fabrics. Create a video for others to explain how to identify a specific type of fabric, what are the properties of that fabric, price, where to find, and what are positive and negative points, etc. Or you can take about starting from the best type of fabric coming down all the way to the mediocre type in a general talk.
